The RAL Trendbox 2025+ is a collection of materials as counterpart to the colour trend report and translates the 15-part trend colour palette of RAL COLOUR FEELING 2025+ into a total of five design-relevant materials. In addition to the standardised RAL D6 single sheets, the box contains plastic samples, powder-coated metal, carpet samples and textile samples. The accompanying colour trend report COLOUR FEELING 2025+ reflects contemporary architecture and design and responds to current topics in order to support project-oriented design and build resonant relationships with the environment.
The German Design Award, presented by the German Design Council, is one of the most prestigious awards in the design landscape, both nationally and internationally. The jury paid particular tribute to the careful colour selection and variety of materials in the RAL Trendbox 2025+, which invites designers to experiment with colours and materials and develop forward-looking design concepts.
The jury's statement emphasised that the RAL Trendbox 2025+ provides a colour profile of great importance for both the present and the future and thus contributes to the creation of long-lasting space and design solutions. The intensive research and trend forecasts that have gone into the development of the Trendbox are evidence of a deep engagement with colour and design.
