In Strasbourg's Neudorf district, the Parisian architectural office LAN has designed an urban development highlight. The urban quarter fits perfectly into its surroundings and demonstrates a combination of individuality and belonging. The choice of colour, which is based on the current environment, historic buildings and districts, plays a decisive role.
The eight buildings were completed at the beginning of 2021. Now they shine in RAL 5013 Cobalt blue, RAL 5011 Steel blue, RAL 7004 Signal grey, RAL 6028 Pine green, RAL 6034 Pastel turquoise, RAL 1020 Olive yellow, RAL 3015 Light pink, RAL 6021 Pale green, RAL 8015 Chestnut brown and RAL 1018 Zinc yellow and include apartments, offices, commercial space and a hotel.

When redesigning the Albert-Schweitzer-School in Hanover, Hamburger Creatyfy used the RAL DESIGN colours RAL 290 70 20 Blossom mauve, RAL 100 80 70 LED green, RAL 340 70 35 Firm pink und RAL 080 80 60 Full yellow. Hamburger Creatyfy designs new colour concepts and colour guide systems for children and teenagers as well as signposting and orientation systems for schools.

Although the Opening Ceremonies are not taking place until 27 July 2012, the new Olympic tower in London has already become a major attraction. It took a total of 2000 metric tons of tubular steel to create the ArcelorMittal Orbit tower, which twists and loops to the adventurous height of 115 metres.

Entirely asymmetrical and without a single straight edge, the entire construction touches the ground at only three points. Its colour is particularly striking in the RAL 3003 ruby red. It took almost 20,000 litres of RAL 3003 to coat this piece of art. The ArcelorMittal Orbit is a conception of Indian sculptor Anish Kapoor.

Whatever the customers are looking for, be it chairs, tables, modular furniture or room-within-a-room solutions. Bosse provides customers with everything from a single source –  for example also in RAL 1018 Zinc yellow.

In the Frankfurt district Westend, the new campus of Johann Wolfgang Goethe University is being built. On the roof of the new university administration as well as the building for social science faculties, the attic is protected by custom-made edge profiles of Richard Brink GmbH & Co. KG coloured in RAL 1013 Oyster white.

Central St. Giles is the colourful urban highlight on London's Oxford Street. The façades was designed by Renzo Piano and consists of 140,000 ceramic elements in six different colours: RAL 070 70 80 Saffron gold, RAL 050 50 70 Poppy red, RAL 050 50 78 Persian orange, RAL 000 75 00 Marble grey, RAL 110 60 50 Airline green and RAL 7035 Light grey. The building is home to Google UK.

The spectacular bridge over the Amstel is coated in RAL 6007 Bottle green. Within the space of a minute, this high-tech-bridge in Vrouwenakker (south of Amsterdam) can be raised or lowered.

A 15-metre-wide, 15.6-metre-long lever arm weighing 84.6 tons opens and closes the bridge. Like an insect, the bridge sits over the Amstel, a small river that divides the provinces Noord- und Zuid-Holland. The dark green colouring was chosen on purpose: That way, the contours of the elegant bridge slowly dissolve at dusk.
